Exclusive Use Option: Your possessions will be kept separate from other shipments in your own container. An Exclusive Use option is available for an extra charge.
Storage: Short-term storage is available for up to 90 days at a low cost. Your possessions are loaded and stored right in the container, thereby reducing the handling and chance of damage.
Flexible Delivery Options: The flexibility of offering you expedited delivery or delayed delivery for up to 30 days is available. Advise your Moving Consultant on which delivery option you require at the time of booking your container shipment.

Depending on your specific needs, budget or schedule, United Van Lines also offers another option: a Do-It-Yourself Moving Container Program called Flexible Move. This is for the long-distance do-it-yourself mover who packs and loads their household goods into one or more of our moving containers. Once loaded, you place your own locks on each container! No need to worry about driving the container to your destination, United Van Lines will transport your possessions to your new home – safe and secure.

UVL container service is ideal if you require temporary storage, allowing you to keep your belongings in a container.
CONTAINER STORAGE – LOCAL SHORT TERM
If you are moving to destinations on Vancouver Island or the Lower Mainland, our exclusive 20-foot containers stored in our secure local moving facility are available at competitive rates. This moving service avoids the cost and double handling associated with warehouse storage and is perfect for short term storage requirements up to 6 months. These exclusive moving containers are weatherproof and remain sealed from the time they are loaded to the time they arrive at your home. Indoor contain storage is subject to availability.
