Weigh Scale Service

A certified weigh-scale ticket is important and must be completed for every shipment when you’re moving long distance. Also, ensure that the scale should have up-to-date government certification for weighings and the weight as the master should sign the weight ticket. Doing so will assure the shipper that the weights are correct. These weights should be shown on the contract of carriage. Attach the weigh scale ticket to the carrier’s copy of the contract of carriage bill. On delivery, if there is any doubt as to the accuracy of the weight obtained, the shipper can reweigh it. Keep in mind, if you choose to reweigh, the charges will be revised and will be based on the reweigh weights.
